Incredible wedding experience with stunning grounds and amazing service.

We were impressed with the huge, newly decorated room and the comfy beds that gave us a solid night’s sleep. Unwinding at the cozy lounge and enjoying breakfast with tasty options made our stay even better. The lift could use a little TLC, but it didn’t dim our enjoyment at all! 🌞

The grounds are beautiful, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout my stay, enhancing the overall experience. the room I stayed in could benefit from some refurbishments, with noticeable wear on the decor and fixtures that affected my comfort. Despite these issues, the hotel is great for families, offering a pleasant ambiance for gatherings or celebrations.

Then there were the steaks – absolute bangers! I had one that was so juicy it could make a grown man weep. Truly top-notch. The bar area was dead chill too, perfect for winding down after a day of munching. The staff were always on point, which really added to the vibe.

Now, while the prices might sting a bit, you get what you pay for. Just don’t go expecting a Michelin star vibe outside the kitchen – it’s nice but not fancy pants.

The Devonshire provided a very pleasant stay for my business needs. The room was tidy and well-maintained during my three-night stay. I particularly appreciated the in-house conference centre, which was suitable for my meetings and facilitated a seamless work experience. The staff were attentive and assisted with any requests efficiently.

The bathroom temperature control was not functional, which caused discomfort.

Clean room with good Wi-Fi and a nice bar, but very noisy neighbors kept us up.

Had a spacious family room with friendly staff that made our stay enjoyable. The gardens must be stunning in summer! the room felt a bit dated. Would definitely return! 😊

Families will love it

The grounds of the place were amazing and the staff were very attentive. My family and I spent the evening outside during the reception and I saw my kids laughing and enjoying themselves like I haven’t seen in years.

It wasn't cheap but still perfectly acceptable considering the occasion.

The room was clean, which was a plus. it felt quite old and styled like it was stuck in the 90s. The carpet had some stains and the radiator looked rusty. The mattress was way too hard—almost like sleeping on the floor. Pillows were pretty flat, too, but at least the bed linen was fresh. The window wouldn’t shut properly, letting in a lot of outside noise. Definitely not the coziest stay, but it did the job for one night.

Hot buffet served in the function room provided decent fare, and breakfast kept everything topped up quickly. The powerful shower ensured a refreshing start to the day.

The hotel feels dated and could really use a refresh. carpets need replacing and some rooms lack basic features like wardrobes or towel hooks. Temperatures in the corridors felt overly warm, making it a bit uncomfortable. While there’s a bar offering happy hour, prices otherwise align with standard hotel rates, which might not cater to all budgets. it’s serviceable for events but not exactly a charming escape.
